The Business Future Pathways, in collaboration with the International Sustainability Standards Board, will convene leading Canadian financial institutions and investors to discuss the evolving role of climate-ready business plans (i.e., transition plans) in investment and lending decisions. Participants will explore how financial institutions assess and use climate-ready business plans to manage risks and identify opportunities, along with how they use key frameworks and guidance to make informed decisions. Participants will also explore the gaps and challenges in accelerating the adoption of climate-ready business plans in Canada. This roundtable will foster alignment on best practices, how to leverage and build upon existing frameworks, and identify actionable steps to increase market adoption of climate-ready business plans.
